Askew’s Landing RV Campground is full of fun and relaxing things to do and surrounded by impressive local attractions, so why not stay awhile?
We Hear the Following from Campers Daily: “I wish we would have stayed longer! There’s so much to do!” We have an old campground feel with Resort amenities. Plan at least 2-3 days at the park + time in the community.
Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Afternoon
Arrive at Askew’s Landing and set up your RV, tent, or check into a cozy cabin.
Come check out The Landing Trading Post - grab a snack, cold glass of sweet tea, and some Askew’s swag.
Take a stroll around the lake to soak in the scenic beauty and unwind from your travels. Catch a peek at our geese, ducks, and maybe spot our local white and grey egrets.
Cool off with a refreshing swim at The Bend Swimmin’ Hole pool or go kayaking/pedal boating on the lake.
Try your hand at one of our lawn games or gem mining.
Evening
Explore the nature trail for a sunset walk and spot some local wildlife.
End your day with a classic campfire. Roast s’mores, share stories, and relax under the Mississippi stars.
Day 2: Fun and Adventure
Morning
Start your day at the Kids Little Explorer’s Adventure Zone where children can climb, slide, and play to their heart’s content.
Soak in the sounds of nature or our themed Mississippi music in the Delta Blues Hall, The Landing Trading Post, or at The Bend Swimmin’ Hole.
Try your hand at the Hidden Gem Mining Co. gem mining sluice and uncover some treasures to take home.
Afternoon
Play a friendly game of cornhole, horseshoes, checkers, or basketball.
Learn about the campground’s unique Civil War history from one of our Staff with a short exploration of the park’s historical features.
Evening
Let your pup burn off energy at the Askew’s Riverbend Bark Park dog parks.
Gather for one last campfire, sharing the memories made over the weekend.
Day 1: Arrival and Settling In
Afternoon
Arrive and set up your camping spot or check into the cabin or glamping tent.
Explore the lake with a quick fishing session or a peaceful kayak or pedal boat trip.
Evening
Cook dinner on a grill by the lake and enjoy a relaxed family picnic.
Wrap up your evening with a toasty campfire and stargazing.
Day 2: Adventure and Fun
Morning
Take the kids to the Kids Little Explorer’s Adventure Zone for an active start to the day.
Try Hidden Gem Mining Co. gem mining sluice—fun for both kids and adults!
Afternoon
Cool off with a swim in the Bend Swimmin’ Hole saltwater pool or lounge by the water.
Play tetherball or basketball to add some friendly competition to your day.
Evening
Walk the nature trail at sunset and enjoy some birdwatching.
End the day with a campfire, complete with s’mores and storytelling. The only thing better than 1 evening sitting beside a campfire is 2 or 3!
Day 3: Relaxation and Exploration
Morning
Enjoy a leisurely morning fishing or birdwatching by the lake.
Take a final stroll along the nature trail to soak in the peace of the outdoors.
Afternoon
Have another peaceful picnic by the lake.
Let the kids (and pups) burn off extra energy at the Kids Little Explorer’s Adventure Zone and Riverbend Bark Parks.
Evening
Participate in activities in the Delta Blues Hall like Camp Store Bingo, sing your favorite song in Karaoke, or join in a craft activity or community campfire with our exceptional staff.
